So I open Live and then Reason which makes Live the master DAW Not sure how you would make pro tools as the master,sorry.I use Lives external instrument plug-in for Reason Works perfectly fine but just the loop/punch markers are annoying. If this is not correct please enlighten me Im pretty sure pro tools is the master.I wanted to make ableton master as in slave mode the plugins are disabled but I couldn't figure out how to do it and everything I read says its not possible. Thing to do,is on the external instrument,disable it,so that no MIDI is sent to your other DAW,adjust your setting to taste then re activate it If its like me using Reason via rewire then I might be able to answer your problem.Ībleton is the master when rewired to your other DAW,so in fact,when you use things like play stop,etc then your other DAW will do the same
